Our Story
Chabad of Cherry Hill West was established in 2025, to serve the Jewish community of Cherry Hill's West Side and surrounding areas. Chabad is a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of affiliation or prior level of knowledge. Its sole purpose is to create a warm, welcoming environment to explore and experience Judaism's warm and relevant spiritual inspirations in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.
Since its inception, Chabad of Cherry Hill West strives to meet the needs of the community with religious services, and social events, as well as an array of programming. There is no charge to come to Chabad. Feel free to come as often as you'd like. You're already a member. We all are.
Chabad of Cherry Hill West is a local, independent and financially self-supporting entity. Every dollar that we receive comes from the generosity of people like you. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and your donations are fully tax deductible.
Meet the Brikman's
Rabbi Isser and Leah Brikman moved to Cherry Hill and founded Chabad of Cherry Hill West in 2025.
Prior to moving to Cherry Hill, Rabbi Isser grew up in Crown Heights, immersed in a vibrant Chabad community. He studied Jewish thought and practice in Israel, Toronto, and Brooklyn, before receiving his rabbinical ordination in Brooklyn. His infectious optimism and genuine enjoyment in connecting with others fuel his commitment and dedication to building a strong vibrant community.
Leah was born and raised in Morristown, NJ in a home where both of her parents are deeply involved in education, naturally inspiring in her a passionate educator. Leah enjoys bringing people together and takes joy in creating thoughtful, creative and beautifully organized events.
